Hollywood Hills Home Invasion: Police Respond to Reported Burglary at Actress’s Property

Hollywood Hills – A Hollywood Hills residence was the target of a suspected burglary on Saturday night, prompting a swift police response. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received a “hot prowl burglary” call before 11:30 p.m. and dispatched officers to the address.

According to LAPD officials, the suspects were still on the property when officers arrived. “At least one victim was inside the residence when the suspects attempted to gain entry,” an officer told reporters. The officers reported that the suspects fled the scene before they could be apprehended. No injuries were reported, and the officers completed a burglary report.

The victim, 50‑year‑old actress Monet Mazur, is said to have lived in the Hollywood Hills home that is valued at roughly $1.5 million. Surveillance footage reportedly captured three men dressed in black clothing and wearing ski masks approaching the front door. A security camera on the property is alleged to have shown the suspects attempting to force open the front door, which triggered the home’s alarm system. According to the footage, the suspects fled when the alarm sounded, and no items were taken.

The LAPD has not released a description of the suspects, and officers were unable to locate any of the intruders at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. “We’re continuing to look into the incident,” a police spokesperson said. “At this time we do not have any suspect descriptions.”

Mazur’s representatives have not yet commented on the incident.

While no direct confrontation between the actress and the intruders was reported, the incident is part of a growing number of high‑profile burglary reports in the Los Angeles area. The LAPD has urged residents to review their home security measures, especially after several well‑known figures in the entertainment industry have recently experienced break‑ins.

The incident adds to a trend in which home invasions occur late at night or in the early morning hours, a pattern that the LAPD’s burglary unit has identified as “hot prowl” activity. Officers are continuing to investigate, and anyone with information about the suspects or the events of the evening is encouraged to contact the LAPD.

For now, the case remains unsolved, with no arrests made and no property reportedly stolen. The LAPD remains on alert to protect the community and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
