2nd Friday Brunswick kicks off this week
Brunswick Downtown Association Announces Summer Art Walk Series Dates
BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Downtown Association will host its annual 2nd Friday Brunswick art walk series this summer, giving residents and visitors four evenings to experience the creativity and culture of the Midcoast town.
The series will run on the second Friday of each month from June through September, with events scheduled for June 12, July 10, Aug. 7 and Sept. 11. Each art walk will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. in downtown Brunswick.
The free, family-friendly events will feature more than 50 local artists, live music and activities for all ages. Organizers describe the gatherings as an opportunity to explore local small businesses and restaurants while kicking off the weekend.
The 2026 series is supported by several sponsors, including Bowdoin College, LeafFilter Gutter Guards, The Mix, Nest in Maine, Ray Labbe & Sons Inc., Riley Insurance Agency, and Renewal by Andersen.
The Brunswick Downtown Association is a community-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The group works to promote downtown Brunswick as a vibrant place to live, work, play and do business, supporting more than 250 local businesses and organizing more than 40 community events each year. The association also operates the Brunswick Visitor Center on Station Avenue and is one of 10 Main Street communities in Maine accredited by Main Street America.
